Live Animal Transactions
1.1 Live Arrival Guarantee
Our Live Arrival Guarantee requires unboxing video documentation within 1 hour of delivery. No claims will be honored without this evidence.
1.2 No Returns
Due to animal welfare regulations, we cannot accept returns of live specimens. All sales are final once the animal leaves our facility.
1.3 Species-Specific Restrictions
Certain species (e.g., Arowana, Clarion Angelfish) may require special permits. Buyer is responsible for verifying local regulations.
Payments & Pricing
2.1 Currency
All transactions are processed in USD. International customers are subject to currency conversion fees from their financial institution.
2.2 Crypto Discount
10% discount for Bitcoin payments applies only to full upfront payments and cannot be combined with other offers.
2.3 Price Fluctuations
Rare specimen pricing may change daily based on availability. Prices are only locked in upon completed payment.
Shipping & Handling
3.1 Shipping Windows
All live animals ship Monday-Wednesday only. Orders placed after 12PM PST Wednesday will ship the following week.
3.2 Delivery Requirements
Someone must be available to receive and immediately unpack live specimens. We are not responsible for delays caused by recipient unavailability.
3.3 Weather Delays
We reserve the right to delay shipments during extreme temperatures (>90°F or <40°F at origin/destination).
International Trade
4.1 CITES Compliance
All international shipments include required CITES documentation. Additional import permits are the buyer's responsibility.
4.2 Customs Delays
We cannot control customs processing times. No refunds will be issued for specimens held in quarantine by government agencies.
4.3 Restricted Destinations
Certain countries (e.g., Australia) have strict import laws. Orders to these locations require pre-approval.
General Provisions
5.1 Liability Limit
Our maximum liability for any transaction is limited to the purchase price of the specimen(s).
5.2 Governing Law
All disputes will be resolved under California law in Los Angeles County courts.
5.3 Policy Changes
We may update these terms at any time. The version active at time of purchase governs your transaction.
